Richard Garriot; a famous Game developer has just returned from his tour in space on the Soyuz TMA-12 a tourist cruise line in space called “space adventures”. Garriots father Owen Garriot is a former NASA Astronaut; which may have been why Richard Garriot Paid $35 million dollars for his 12 day ticket into space. Richard is the 6th space tourist and has answered plenty of questions on his website that you can listen to.
Sergey Brin co-founder of Google put down $5 million dollars for space adventures flight in 2011. Sergey has not yet decided if he will go on the flight in 2011 with “Space Adventures”. Richard Garriot (also known as Lord British in Ultima) are very good friends. Sergey went to "Space Adventures" in Russia before Richards departure into space and gave him a camera memory-chip as a good luck gift.
Sergey Brin may very well go into space in 2011; it is ultimately going to be his decision. I am sure Sergey is keeping a close eye on all “space adventures” missions to ensure that the flights are safe.
Space adventures denied San- Enomoto passage into space due to a medical disqualification.
San-Enomoto is suing space adventures for $21 million dollars wanting his ticket refunded; and is claiming that they replaced him with a space adventures investor because he refused to commit to any more missions. According to space.com “Space Adventures denies Enomoto's accusations, saying he is a successful businessman who should have understood the contract only guaranteed a refund if Space Adventures or the Russian Space Agency failed to produce a spaceflight or defaulted on the contract.”
