MktgRob 7 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

One of the other forums I participate in had a question about how to charge for Social Media Activity. Here was my response...

I tend to follow the basic guidelines. If you are blogging charge by the word, it you are micro-blogging charge by the post, if you are getting their name out their (posting on Digg, Delicious, Technorati, etc) charge by the clicks/hits, if you are producing v-blog content develop a menu of charges based on video length and production value, and if you are populating forums charge by the post. If you are building presences for them on Facebook/Linkedin/MySpace, again, develop a menu of charges based on what is created. Finally, come up with an hourly rate for basic consultation.

Any thoughts?
