So here's the deal. This laptop won't boot anymore. One day I hit the power switch, it starts to boot giving me the Gateway splash screen, then it clicks off and reboots. It'll do this a couple times then shuts off. It never makes it to the Windows XP screen anymore.
If I enter BIOS I can leave it on indefinitely and it will stay running, but once I exit it does the same thing. I have tried taking out each of the memory cards one at a time. I switched them too. Nothing.
My power configuration is: dead battery. Running just off AC. I have tried removing the dead battery as well, but no good.
I am running XP.
Any ideas would be a great help.
