I have a computer I built with a CD ROM, hard drive, and floppy drive and a 300MHz AMD processor. It was intended to be for playing a bunch of old DOS games I have, but when I try to boot it from the FreeDOS one disk installer(ODIN), it just shows a B on the screen with a flashing cursor. The floppy drive light stays on as if it's getting ready to do something, but nothing ever happens. The same thing happens when I put a different floppy drive in or when I try to use a Windows 98 boot disk. To add to the problem, the CDROM isn't being detected by the BIOS. Yes, all of the cables are tight. Any ideas?
