Hello I'm NEW here and need REAL help. A webcam was given to me (new) it worked in the shop (tested) my windows (XP) accepted it & I can see myself self when I go to the control panel etc. BUT it wont work on SKYPE. Skype, says :"Skype can't access your webcam. Please close down all applications or sharing video & start the call again" (not even a SORRY!! lol) anyhow, it seems many people have this problem. How do I solve it. I am able to see other contacts when they Skype me! Do I have to download Directx 9.0c, some say doing that did not help them. Anyone, please help
