I used to have a 65 Gb Music folder. The truth is, that I still have it, only that now it has 0b and no files or folders inside it. It hasn't been deleted, cause I still have the same amount of free space as before (that would be round 18 Gb). For about an hour it (meaning Windows and all aplications i tried) wouldn't even let me in the folder. I tried deleting the folder, it wouldn't let me. I tried to recover the data with a few programs (the tools on Hiren's boot disk, if anybody knows it), it didn't find it. I tried to repartition the disks, it began to send some error messages, about lost file fragments or something of the kind. I tried to ScanDisk it, it found the problems, but didn't solve them. Three times in a row i tried this, and now i'm thinking of a low level format, but i would like to save the data from that partition. Help me please, how could i do this? I have internet connection from the pc, i can connect it with a laptop (in this case there is also a sharing program), and i have DVD-writer too, so there has to be a way to save the data and the HDD too. Please hurry, cause i want to do the formatting as soon as possible!
