I have a Vantec NexStar 3 300gb HDD, i just spent 3 days backing up files on it, but for some reason even though usb 2 drivers are installed it runs at 1.1, but the problem is before it was plugged in it worked on my current laptop and main rig, and after it was unplugged from the server i plugged it into my laptop, and suddenly ever single port on my laptop turned into a usb 1.1 port, but they are all 2, what could be a possible solution? to this problem....i have tried many other cables and reboots.
