I am getting a message" internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" "send report" "dont send"

This happens anytime i try to get to hotmail, microsoft help sites or open more than 1 browser.

I have XP w/SP2, messenger is 6 w/sp3 and IE is 6 w/SP2

What can I do to resolve this problem.

I can get to hotmail though my "Dell Net msn" browser.

I have Mcafee anti virus and AVG 6.

This just started Friday and I am not aware of any changes.
