I am helping my boss start up a section of his business for PC repair. We are trying to compile some CDs for repairing or reformatting of Windows based OS's and I was wondering if someone had compiled a list (or just knows) which CD's are usable for which COA's so that I can limit the number of discs we have to keep track of? Just to help in clarification: Windows XP Home SP3 OEM CD's can install the OS on machines that have only the XP Home SP3 COA or will they also install for COA's listing no SP, SP1, and/or SP2 (and so on for others)? I was hoping for find a list from Win 98 through Windows 7.
