Hi

I am one of a small but dynamic team of .Net application development. Over a period of 2 years we were able to create a foundation framework for all of our applications. While this framework has increased our speed of development, we are now facing a problem with deployment.

The problem is that each of our client has more than one application of ours which operate on same core lib. They come up with very frequent enhancements and some of the requests end in changing the core lib. Now while deploying latest version of say application "A" the core lib is deployed in parallel to older version which is serving other applications currently running in the system. So over a period of time each client has as many versions of corelib as much of the applications they have.

Now that we end up tracking client wise application wise core lib version. It gets up to a mess when an app that uses older version of core lib gets CR. Can some one suggest a best practice?

Thanks in advance,

Mani
