Hi All
I am currently using Vb Express.net 2008, MSSQL server express 2005 in conjunction with SQL server management express.
I have created a database application within the express IDE, which I must say I am very happy with, as it was my first database app. I have now decided to teach myself how to backup the information that I enter into my published app, here lies the problem once the database is publish it seems to use its own data storage some where else on my hard drive which I cannot find, believe you me I have looked. All the other .mdf files seem to become redundant. Is this a feature of VB express where you can only go so far with the management of your database?
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what happens when you publish the App and how to find where my app is storing my entered data?
Hope someone can help as I have been messing with this for a while now :?:
