Hi, I have been looking for the same sort of thing for VB 2008. I needed to control a router via telnet using VB, but couldn't work out how to do it. I looked loads of places including here, and eventually worked out a bodged way of doing it. If anybody wants to read my findings, and hopefully add to them, take a look at my documentation:

Its definately a work in progress and I would appreciate anybody who actually knows what they are talking about giving me any pointers.
