GUYS I AM COMPLETELY TRAPPED.I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE PROJECT WHICH INVOLVES USAGE OF VC++/C++/C FOR 3D POINT CLOUD RECONSTRUCTION FROM THE DATA PROVIDED BY THE SCANNER ME BEING COMPLETLY NEW TO THIS FIELD AM NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM .THE STATEMENT OF PROBLEM I AS:-

The video feedback FROM the ROBOT to the operator is in 2d and lacks the depth info. 3D scanner which scans the view in front . resulting Point Cloud from the sensor shall be displayed on the operator’s console and thereafter subjected to visual transformation to provide the operator with a good view of the area in front of the ROBOT
. The project HAs to utilize a scanner and prove the concept in **static mode **whereby thE software developed shall be able to generate a 3D model using the point cloud data from the sensor.""
