I have a project that I am working on that has customer data including their addresses. I am trying to Place a route code on each customer using a secondary data base that has been assigned route codes. I am trying to match these customers with the 2nd data base with assigned route codes and code them according to each match. My problem is the 1st customer data base is user generated and has misspelled addresses. Sometimes it is close but it my be Killam versus Kilam. You get the idea.... Close but not quite a match.
Does anyone have an idea of a sold approach to this problem using VB code? I really appreciate your help.... :)
