Hello all,

I need a good .NET book that doesn't cost too much but has a base for beginner and advanced programimg. I want to know about the framework to sample code. I am familiar with C and C++. So I think I will need to refresh my VB or C# skills as it has been some time since playing with those. I think I want to stick with C# as I here lots about it and think it will be the primary for .NET 3.0. I already develop classic ASP and some JSP.

Bottom line is I may want to stay away from Microsoft Press and Oriley books and need one that covers .NET 2, framework, sample code, and C#. What else do you propose and what is a good book.

Thanks
