I've heard different stories about
AGP

and the other being PCI-E?

Hello, I am troubleshooting some problems on my PC. When going through my bios I noticed that the
AGP
aperture size was set to 64mb. I have a Radeon 9800 XT which has 256mb. My question is. Does this matter? I should I set my
AGP
Aperture to 256mb? There is an option to. If anyone knows more about this than me please help! Thanks! David

If your computer has
AGP

AGP
slots are always set off more away from the motherboard than normal PCI and PCI Express slots.

Not that I know of, the equivalent in hardware like vid-cards are cheaper for PCI-e than for
AGP
. So you can probably sell you ragp card and have enough to buy th esame card for pci-e brand new. Go to newegg .com and comapre, you'll see what I mean.
