The bus expanders I found have DVI-I (29 pin) wired connectors. You can probably find optical adapters for that, but why bother? Anyway, here is a link to a 4-slot expansion bus: [url]http://www.startech.com/product/PEX2PCIE4L-PCI-Express-to-2-PCI-Full-Length-2-

Well, I guess my next option it to buy a new computer? I won't bother buying a new motherboard that has
PCIe

PCIe
in 'em? If so, what kind of computer should I get?

there are agp and
pcie
for graphics cards. it sounds like you only have pci. YOu can add a pci graphics card, but its performance will not provide you with anything great for gaming. So yes, it is pretty safe to say your graphics options are un upgradeable.

yeah good thats what nearly all RAID cards are I was just checking My server has a pci-express x1 card but my desktop has a PCI one I dont think the speed difference will matter much. SATA 2 theoretically would use the extra bandwidth of PCI Express but in reality, SATA never operates anywhere near the theoretical max of 3gb/s

Well, right now, I have no idea what to do about upgrading my graphics on this eMachine of mine. All the slots I know that are in there are fit for those cards used for wireless internet. As far as I'm concerned, my computer's graphics are un-upgradable.

Actually, The 7600 only needs a 300 watt PSU, I thought the issue was overheating, but after trying many differnet fans, and even keeping the case open and having a room size fan blowing on it, the problem stil occurs, However, i am thinking it could be my small (350 watt) PSU.................
