Using wait for function

CAn i use 'waitfor' in t sql in sql server 2012 to wait in terms of days?
eg. Wait three says after an event to do something else?

Thankx for the reply. How can i implement somrthing similar to wait in tql inoder to delay and action in terms of days.?

Store the required period to wait in days in a table, with every trigger decrease that value and retrigger until it's zero.
