Does anyone know how long it takes for a new blog to start being recognized by the major search engines? I want to monetize my new blog eventually, but I'm waiting until I have good traffic before using ads. And I'm wondering if I should postpone posting comments on other blogs with links to my own until the search engines pick up on it.
Does anyone have experience with this?
With my blog it took about two weeks I believe. And I had the blog linked on my Facebook and in a forum that I've been posting on for years. I wouldn't hold back on implementing seo techniques you've learned, I think they can only help.
Writing excellent content will good for SEO and can hold the attention of the visitors.
