I run Avant Browser and recently I went to TrendMicro for a free scan. Since then, my Avant or IE favorites will not allow me to organize them and every time I open Avant, instead of my homepage popping up, a window pops up that asks me if I want to re-open the Housecall scan from TrendMicro. I have deleted all temp files, cookies, any thing related to TrendMicro. I have checked all of my internet options in Avant. I finally uninstalled Avant, re-installed....the pop up will not go away. No viruses or spyware. I really don't want to re-install my system, so someone please let me know they can help. Thanks and cheers!

Download HiJack This from my link and make its own file to save it under and then close all running applications and windows and scan and save a log then post a log here

Hi, I fixed the problem...I just re-installed. Everything is fresh now with no problems. I think it had a lot to do with Avant saving web pages automatically. And even though I changed the settings over and over, it just wouldn't work. But thanks for the help.

Do you mind posting a HiJack This log anyway so we can see if theres anything else.

ok, i don't think anything is wrong anymore, but here goes with hj log...

thanks!

BigFix should be set to start manually as it's a resource hog.

There's something running from a Temp folder, any idea what it is? Best to delete it unless it's something you're still working with. (O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RecoverFromReboot.SS] C:\WINDOWS\Temp\RECOVE~1.EXE)

Other then that, your log looks fine to me.
