Hello again ,it was only a few weeks ago that i was rescued here by D3m3nt3d,after his assistance my pc was running fantastic,it unfortunately only took that long for another individual,my sister ,to use the pc one evening about a week ago and mess it up again,i'm not sure what she did but from what i can gather through viewing my history she uploaded a version of flash media and a program called conference ,which i've never heard of,while sitting away from the pc it sounded like there was lots of downloading activity going on on the pc yet no-one was using it,now when i heard this i came over to shut it down but it wouldn't allow me ,so i powered down via pulling the plug, since restarting it i can only use the pc for a few minutes ,roughly ten before it freezes and i have no choice but to pull the plug again, this has been consistent for a week now, attached are my log files and please be patient with my response as again i freeze up and need to restart to use again, thank you in advance Brendan.

any other info required will be given promptly ,freezing pc will be the only hold up ,thank you again

Hmm, that's odd. I don't see too much. Fix the following:

O16 - DPF: Yahoo! MahJong Solitaire - http://download.games.yahoo.com/gam...s/y/mjst4_x.cab
O16 - DPF: {30528230-99F7-4BB4-88D8-FA1D4F56A2AB} (YInstStarter Class) - http://us.dl1.yimg.com/download.yah...nst20040510.cab

After fixing those, reboot your computer.

After, post a new HJT log.

Also post a new Ewido and SpySweeper log. (NOTE: your spysweeper may have expired, if so, that's ok.)

Thanks.

A couple of additional suggestions:

* Boot the computer into Safe Mode (you get to the safe mode boot option by hitting the F8 key as your computer is starting up) and see whether or not the freezing behaviour is the same as when booted normally.

* Open the Event Viewer utility in your Administrative Tools control panel and look through your System and Application logs for entries flagged with "Error" or "Warning" which might seem to be related to the freezes. Double-clicking on such an entry will open a properties window with more detailed information on the error; post that info here. To do so:

In the Properties window of a given entry, click on the button with the graphic of two pieces of paper on it; the button is at the right of the window just below the up arrow/down arrow buttons. You won't see anything happen when you click the button, but it will copy all of the details to the Windows clipboard. You can then paste the details into your next post here.
