I just got my server up and running... its works great... except for one minor detail, every so often my isp changes my ip.. from what I know, I'm pretty sure you cannot make the ISP number static, thats something the company does for you. I've also heard bits about dns severs, and they sorda keep your domain redirection current with ip changes, correct? If so, and one know where i can find one, or the answer to this question?

er you can buy a static IP

Erm i know there's a piece of software out there, that is a piece of software that sends a message to the dns server telling it the new ip and updates accordingly can't remember its name though and you have to use their DNS

You can get a dyndns address:
http://www.dyndns.org/

There are clients on thier site that can also update the entry automatically for you.
