If it wont boot then the worst has already happened. You should always always always back up all data that you cannot loose on a regular basis.
Please explain the symptoms of your problem properly, "cant boot" doesn't give us any useful information to work with.

That is caused by either data corruption or a malware attack. A repair via a windows install cd may work, but most likely, you will need to do a completely new install.
