Is the name of the trojan.

Please help me get it out of my system. AVG Anti-Virus which i downloaded (free one) today found it, but it couldn't "heal" it, all it said was 'Action Failed.' So how do I get rid of this? I'm right now scanning my computer with "The Cleaner 4.0 Proffesional Scan". Here's a picture of the virus name in the virus vault, I hope you can read what it says in the box :

oh look again! as I just decided to empty my recycle been i've been assaulted with another message "VIRUS DETECTED" now there are two trojans in the vault here :

First please get Spybot S&D to clear out most of the spyware. In my signature .

Fix everything SpybotSD labels in red.

Then after reboot:
Download 'Hijack This!'. the file is below!!
Unzip to a permanent folder,NOT A TEMP FOLDER , doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
then post the log here

housecall! lol i just did, nothing was found! but guess what, another box came up saying i have a virus, whoo another trojan. funny theyre all expands from this sub seven legends thing. i might as well just start crying now. Im resorting to anything. seriously.

Let us proceed, my third one in a row. btw this all has to do with some "Sub7legends" crap.

I have spybot and ran it twice today, i found a couple of things but will it help with trojan? anyways i just followed your instructions and d/led hijackthis so here is the log :

what do you mean by clean log?

Sorry .I meant that the log is clean of any problems .I got you to do all this hopeing to see something related to the trojan but there was nothing ,so I got you to fix the other problems that the log showed ,You trojan seems to be new as i can't find anything about the Mosucker.W ,othe Mosucker but not the .W !
I think you should delete that sub7ledgents file and folder .

i know what you mean, BackDoor.Mosucker.W is one i researched, cant find anything on it either... i deleted the sub7 file. i have a scary folder entitled "d9458e8edb90f39ec25b2486f2aaa3a9" if you could help me out with that, i'd be really glad, because that might have to do with the trojan as well. I know you've already posted a bit on that thread http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread3285.html

You're infected with Sub7, which is a RAT,or, Remote Access Trojan, sorta like NetBus.

Check your Registry, specifically, the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN

and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUNSERVICES

Make a backup of that key before removing anything, then delete any key you KNOW shouldn't be there. If you happen to make a mistake, restore the backup of that key, then start again.

Actually, it would be easier if you could paste a snapshot of that key so I can look at it and see if I can spot it...

Also, just by removing that key (if it exists) in the registry won't fix it. You'll also notice that you can't run any executable files, which requires another registry edit. I'll see if I still have the instructions here or paste a URL that walks you through the repair process.

Check the "Removal Database" for SubSeven. I have no idea what version you've been infected with, but that at least gives you a start on what to look for...

omg please do, it'll be of so much help to me thankyou.

The hijackthis log would have shown the virus if it were in Run that was why I got you to use hijackthis and post the log in the other thread.

but then what do i do!:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

What i would do is ,run you AV and Quarentene the affected files .The photo you post shows the sub7ledgenes in a folder on c:\ delete the folder .

well norton and housecall didnt detect nothing. AVG put three trojans (of the same kind) in the virus vault. i believe the virus vault is quarantine? not sure. uhm what else. the only thing i can do, since i cant heal the trojans are delete them, and i dont know if thats a good idea at all.

Here's Symantec's info (including cleaning instructions) on SubSeven:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.subseven.html

The reason I believe it's SebSeven (Sub7) is because of the directory/file you posted earlier:

C:\unzipped\sub7legends\sub7legends\subseven.exe

Normally, that's the default server filename (the file that infects the target PC) before being renamed when you create the server.

Just out of pure curiosity, is there a chance that you ran that file before and possibly infected yourself with it?

yes, infact i did...and the reason was pure ignorance, thankyou for the link i shall try to get rid of sub7 now.

ive come to the conclusion that although the path source is sub7 the file name of the virus is this "mosucker" it has to be this mosucker thing. also my dos command prompt wont let me make a second-copy registry because it says invalid command when i type in cd \winnt. i just got my norton anti virus renewed and it STILL hasnt found any trojans EVEN with the latest virus definitions. this is garbage, i dont know how im going to get rid of this/these virus/viruses/trojan/trojans seriously i think i have more than one trojan too.
