Hello Group,
Been a while since I have been here but thought someone could help.
I am trying to avoid a 150 foot ethernet connection for my sons Sony PS3 to my network and thought about using a spare DLink wireless router connection to my Linksys wireless network.
Sounds feasable to me but I am a newbe so details would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Why not get a signal booster? The PS3 has inbuilt wireless.

This is feasable with WDS. Keep in mind that you will be relaying a wireless connection which will cut the speeds in half, and add latency. Which may not be the most ideal situation for online gaming.

Hi,
It's the early model PS3. There is an ethernet connection but I was told that the early model PS3 is not wireless.

Thanks

Jim

You must have the 20Gb model then.
