** Hello Guys,
I want to write .htaccess file. But i have no idea how to write .htaccess. I want to make my
site seo Friendly. this time my url looking like this type.
Basic url : http://localhost/health

when click on category link. It should looks like this format.

http://localhost/health/category.php?cat_id=46

I want to make this seo friendly. My site related to health. Will you pliz explain how can me
do that. i want my site url looking like this type.

http://localhost/health/cancer


I think it's seo friendly url. So anyone can guide me how to make my site url seo friendly.

It's just a text file. Here is the official documentation.

If you want to turn this:

http://localhost/health/cancer

into this:

http://localhost/health/category.php?cat_id=46

You will need some mapping. You cannot simply convert cancer to cat_id=46.
