First, I would like to apologize for this not being a high quality post, I have never been good at that; I also apologize if this is in the wrong section, as I am on my crappy ipod and cannot read the thread titles.
I was wondering if we still have an IRC chat here, as every time I try to join it says disconnected.

irc.daniweb.com has been shut down by the looks of it.
To be honest though, I'd rather have an actual IRC channel rather than a website based chat. I use IRC alot for the rest of my web development anyway, so I don't have to open another window for it.
We switched to the web-based chat because I wanted a lot more of a seamless integration. In an ideal world, I would have written our chat application on top of IRC or Jabber, but it just wasn't giving me the flexibility I wanted.
