I know that BlueSky is a new toy , that we don't know how much will last in its current state. But my question is beyond BlueSky , it is in all emerging media. For example in BlueSky programming talk is vibrant with a whimsy touch but not with harassment (yet). So why doesn't DaniWeb jump in , sharing those posts that are real and might interest people ?

rproffitt commented: IMO, not a new toy. Also, thanks for asking. Also should rip out the X connections. +0

There's a simple answer: DaniWeb doesn't have an account on Bluesky because I run DaniWeb and I've never heard of BlueSky.

We do, however, have an account on X. I have been on Twitter since 2008, and Facebook since even before then, and, aside from those two that we've had forever, I don't see the point in having multiple social media accounts across all different platforms. Way too much to keep track of :)
