The tips discussed in this contribution are great and effective for cracking an interview. However, although these tips are wholesome, I want to share strategies that helped crack interviews in the past. Hence, let’s discuss my personal tips to increase your chances of cracking an interview further.

Be ready with questions: When your interviewer asks, "Do you have any questions for us?" Don't simply answer with a no. Instead, ask questions about the vision of the company, or questions like "what value addition can I expect if I join this organization?" or any human resource-related questions. These questions positively impact the interviewer's mind and assure him that you are serious about your job.

Avoid smiling too much: It has always been suggested that you should smile throughout your interview. However, too much smiling can reflect a hint of fakeness in your personality. Hence, give your interview a positive face and smile only where necessary.

Never criticize your previous organization: Your interviewer may assume you to be a disloyal employee if you criticize the company you used to work in. Hence, try avoiding any criticism even if you are provoked to do so.
Avoid using a lot of hand gestures: In our day-to-day conversations, we use a lot of hand and head movements; however, try to avoid doing so in an interview, as this portrays you as being unprofessional. A few hand gestures are ok, but using them every time you speak is not recommended.

The list of such tips goes on and on; try using them strategically. Another strategy that will greatly help you crack an interview is your honesty and truthfulness.
