Hey guys The name is Neil and i live near Sydney Australia. I am studying IT and i am in my 30's. I am looking to change careers and was wondering if any of you had any thoughts on Directions and growth areas in the industry. I am more hardware orientated and have been looking at networking and VOIP etc? Any advice would be well received.

Jump to PostWelcome to DaniWeb. I dont know about australia, but here in the UK the IT industry is changing a bit at the moment as programming jobs are on the decline (due to outsourcing to india) but tech support, network instillation and design jobs are on the increase.
