i resetly bought a broke solo 1150 and installed a motherboard to try and repair it. ( the existing one was clearly bad..) but after i put it all back together and try to turn it on it emitts a series of BEEPS like some kind of code and then shuts back down only leaving the fan running.. this is the first computer i've owned all to myself.. Can anyone help me?

It sounds like something's not connected, burned out etc so the PC doesn't want to start up - when I forgot to connect the power to my GFX card, it didn't fry or anything, just beeped. But the only way to know is to look at a manual of some sort, or try the manufacturer's website.
