I've been link exchanging for years. Back link pages bring me a very small amount of traffic. I would have to say it has not increased my PR what so ever.
So I came up with this crazy idea to email websites and ask for a FRONT page link exchange. Long story short, I wish I had done this years ago instead of all that time wasted doing backlink page exchanges.
