I have old sites (2+ years old) and new websites (1 year old).

What is the good SEO strategy to get indexed on these sites?

What I learned from this forum is to write articles and submit them to social bookmarking sites.

How often do I need to submit them to social bookmarking sites for new sites/old sites?

I have heard recommendations of resubmitting them every week or month - as long as you have updated the content and keep it fresh.

i suggest that you start with searching good keywords for your niche. You should look into the popularity of the keyword on search engines. You should also try blog commenting specifically on do-follow blogs. Hyperlink your chosen keyword and redirect it to your site. I find these strategies effective in creating backlinks.
