Still, I'm happy with Chrome. Chrome is performing its functions without a hitch; therefore, there is no need for me to switch to a different browser anytime soon. I'm comfortable with Chrome, and given the extensive financial backing it receives from Google, I presume that its incognito mode offers a reasonable level of protection.
So, here is my observation: I use Chrome most of the time, and I use it to perform certain kinds of work. Since I am already committed to Google for my email and a few other applications that I use, it only makes sense for me to keep doing things the way I have been doing them. Other web browsers like Edge, Firefox, and Brave are installed on my computer to do some necessary tasks such as testing for web development.

Having said that, I'm seeing a lot of opinions here, a lot of which are not backed up by reasons. If you are going to state a preference then please give the reasons for doing so, otherwise it just seems like a popularity poll. This is applicable to much more than the topic of SEO.

This thread is a popularity poll. That being said, reasons to choose a browser span from available plug-ins/extensions, which have the "best" developer tools console (which is really just personal preference as they all have pretty much the same feature-set, but, for example, I despise using Safari's), and, of course the big one, Chrome user data is factored into Google's algorithm.

I mostly use Chrome too. It's what most SEO tools are built for, so you get the best compatibility with extensions like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Keywords Everywhere.
That said, I keep Firefox and Edge as backups. Firefox has better privacy out of the box, and Edge has some nice built-in features like vertical tabs and sleeping tabs that don't eat up RAM when you have 50 tabs open.
For SEO work specifically, Chrome is still the best because Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights are optimized for it. But honestly, the browser matters way less than the extensions you run. Same extensions on any Chromium browser will give you the same result.

For SEO, the best browser is usually Google Chrome. It’s widely used and fully supports most SEO tools and extensions like:
Google Search Console tools
Ahrefs / SEMrush extensions
SEO Meta in 1 Click
Lighthouse (built into Chrome DevTools)
Chrome is also best for checking real user search results since most users globally use it.
That said, Firefox is also good if you want a lighter browser with good privacy tools and clean testing.
But overall, my choice and recommendation is Google Chrome for daily SEO work because it has the best tool support and compatibility.

Browser choice has zero impact on SEO. Search engines crawl your site using their own bots, not through your browser. So rankings won't change no matter what you use.
That said, for doing SEO work most people prefer Chrome simply because of the extensions — SEOquake, Ahrefs toolbar, MozBar all work seamlessly there. Firefox is a solid alternative too if that's your thing.

Chrome is the go to for most SEO work simply because the best extensions run on it. Keywords Everywhere, Ahrefs toolbar, MozBar, Detailed SEO Extension all work seamlessly on Chrome.
For general browsing and checking how sites render, Chrome also matches how most of your website visitors are browsing so you see what they see.
Firefox works fine as a secondary browser for testing. Nothing wrong with it but the SEO extension ecosystem just isn't as strong.
Stick with Chrome for SEO work.
