I have dell laditude d 600 laptop. 1.4 ghz. I was fine for last years. Now sometimes it does not get on. Three LEDs are trying on get on but only blinking bliking and then stops. After long time waiting it sometimes switched on. I removed the battery and try only with direct power supply. but the result is same. Is this a problem with cooling fan or some heating problem? Please help.

Also sometimes when I am working it get strucked. Then after switching off again does not get switch on.

it could be heat ,get a can of compressed air and blow out the cooling ducts/fan/fins
