I have a dead machine. I purchased a post card and it stops at d555. Can anyone help to tell me what it means. The motherboard is an ASUS P5k, with ami bios. when turned on all fans run and no postcode beep are emitted. (beeps are emitted when the ram is removed) Help please
your post card should have come with a code book d555 is most like just for that post card and not a AMI code.
also if all fans are on and its not booting the first thing i would check is the power supply,working but faulty ones act this way ,try another one ,borrow working one is best way to try .
