I have a GeForce 8800 and now want to do video editing. It looks like Avid may have the best editing platform but they recommend nVidia Quadro cards. I just wondered if anyone knew if I could make the GeForce 8800 work with Avid?

PS I'm getting ready to do a video of a rock group for their latest song.


I'm thinking of buying an HVX200 from Panasonic to do the job rather than the new Sony PMW-EX1.

Any thoughts?
