I sent a 1.88 MB ASF stream to a friend of mine, and he gets 17 seconds into playing it and it stops. He's XP, and I downloaded MP10 and Service Pac 2 for him thinking this would solve his problem, it didn't. He can send this to some else and they can play it, so it's not a corrupted file. It had been suggested to me that the video codec might be too old to play an ASF, this dosen't sound right, he has a Dell Dimension 2400 that's just over a year old, this is five years newer than mine and I don't have any problem playing it....I'm using Media Player 9. Short of an exorcisim, does anyone have any thoughts on this?
