problem about cmos

In my pc there ic 1 problem & problem is when i start my pc

this is give me 1 error & error is

"CMOS SHEKSUM ERROR-DEFAULT LOADED"

please give me any solution.

i m changed my battery also,but problem is as it is ?

hi, did you add a new battery ,some people change them but use a battery from another computer ,some jsut making sure that you used a brand new battery .
so try this ,on boot up enter the bios and set to defaults ,save changes and exit ,reboot computer

"CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR-DEFAULT LOADED"
This is caused when the CMOS values are incorrect.
This can occur because of any of the following-
Faulty CMOS battery.
BIOS update.
Disconnecting power from computer without shutting down computer.

Have you tried resetting your date and time settings in your BIOS?

If you haven't this might be the one causing the error message to appear.

i dont plug hdd, In my pc the massage in the screen system will shut down at 15 seconds,i already change the cmos batt but still the same error

plez remove your mother board battery and keep it hot place in 3 minutes like TV .then fit battery again and then you can got any solution for your question

Change your cmos battery then check if it give again then change and upgrade the bios of motherboard.
