Hi
Please can anyone assist, I have a Vaio PCG-F709, which was working fine
until I replace the HDD, after which it refuses to boot. When powered up the
power and battery leds light up, and then the power led stays on. After which
nothing happens no vaio logo etc and cannot be switched off by holding down the power switch, only by removing power source or reset switch. I have removed the bios battery,pressed on the memory modules whilst powering up, no joy.

Look forward to any ideas, thank you.

enter your bios let it detect your new hard drive,after bootup if it does
install the neccessary hard drive drivers if needed(check to make sure the hard drive is compatable with the os your useing as some are not.
be cautiouse as many hardware vendors provide third party software on the install discs to make more money from advertising,and referrals.
