Maybe you should consider a new laptop?

Hi,
It has been proven in many tests that dropping a laptop from any height will not hurt the laptop in any way. They have been dropped from heights as low as 1 inch up to 2 miles high, out of a plane. None of the laptops tested had any detectable problem resulting from the drop.
Further tests at another testing authority discovered that , while the evidence from the previous test seemed accurate, it was too hard to prove it to be conclusive as the sudden stop when they hit, generally destroyed the laptop so badly it was impossible to assess what damage if any occurred during the fall.
The conclusion of all these tests is the drop has none or very little effect on the laptop, but the sudden stop at the bottom is what causes all the problems.
Recommendation from tests; Don't drop your laptop from a height that will cause damage when it hits the bottom or you will need to purchase a new one.
