My computer wont boot. It keeps switching off to no signal and restarts.
error messages displayed
*pri. master disk hdd s.m.a.r.t capability...... disabled

I tried the last resort and inserted a reload cd..error messages
*failed whilst redefining max address
*failed to initiate recovery
*error whilst redefining max address

it fails to reload when prompted..error messages
*failed to initiate partition

please, please help...i got so much on the computer..I can't lose it. I don't blame, just need help. thanks!

Slow down. Stop panicking.

Read the pinned topic at top of page, strip the PC back to bare basics as described and troubleshoot it that way.

If it's a system problem you'll be able to use the hard drive as slave in a digfferent system and recover your data no problems. If it turns out to be the hard drive (which I don't think it is) you might have problems.

Let us know how you go tracking down the source of the POST problem please.
