Jump to Postit could be over heating ,have you cleaned the dust off the fan and heat sinc lately

.i would start with booting to the windows CD/DVD if you are using windows ,and using the recovery console ,run a chkdsk /r

I think he meant when he power on the laptop, it immediately turn off without any chances to get into BIOS at all.
Unplug any battery and power adapter attach on your laptop and press the power button at least 20 seconds. Then plug in adapter and battery then try again..

I think it's a battery problem! replace your battery....
