i am planning to buy a gaming mouse and i am stuck between the
Logitech™ MX518 Gaming-Grade™ Optical Mouse and its razor equivalent.which do you guys think is better.

The Razer Diamondback is really its Logitech counterpart with some extra features including something to keep the laser constantly active, an additional 400dpi resolution ability, and some sides with better traction to improve your grip. It's also $10 more.
If you don't mind the extra $10, nab the Razer.

I have a Logitech 510MX, it's pretty much like the 518MX.
I never had any problems with it and it rules for gaming. I never tried a Razor so I can't give you any feedback about it.
