Hello, so I am building a pc and the processor is the 2nd gen Intel core i5 2300 (2.8ghz), now here are the memory specifications..
Specifications

32 GB
Memory Types

The memory I want to buy is 2x4Gb corsair vengance ram (1600mhz) my question is weather this will be compatable with my processor. Also if it is then will it only run at 1333mhz?

Thanks
Bobbysmile

it says 1066/1333 ,so yes the 1600 will run at 1333, it maybe possible to overclock it ,not positive , what is the make and model of the motherboard you are going to use

Motherboard is this...
Gigabyte SKT-1155 H61M-D2-B3 Motherboard (Rev 1.0)
Yes I know its cheap but im on a realy tight budget and it ticks all the boxes I need.
The ram is better quality because I will probably pick up another Motherboard when i have the cash...
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Two Module Kit (2x4GB)
