This seems to be a pretty common question, however I am going to ask anyways lol. Im building a new system, and the motherboard came in today. Hooked everything up, double checked all connections went to power up, started to post, then it shut down. Checked everything again, and wouldnt even power up.

So the first thing that came to mind was power supply. I went down and swapped it out and after putting the new one in it fired right up, however no matter what was or was not plugged in it would not POST.

Everything else seems fine, because some of the parts(RAM/CPU/Graphics card) are in the system im using to post this question.

Im thinking that the first power supply(an Ultra 600watt Xconnect) may have killed the mobo. Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to hopefully fix this? Does not show BIOS screen etc.. just powers up and full throttles everything. I have googled around and havent been able to find any answers. Any help would be great. Thanks.
