HP 2500n prints only first 2 pg over IPP then flashes red LED

HI!

Please help!

I have tried this on HP support forum, but no reply. Also search across Google gave no solution.

I have this problem:

HP 2500n Color LaserJet prints OK over Appletalk from Mac OS X. But from Linux Debian, over IPP, it prints only two first pages, and then attention red LED flashes. Manual intervention is necessary to restart printing, and the rest of the pages are lost.

Even when single page is sent to printer, it is printed, but the attention light goes on and the queue blocks.

I remember the same problem when we tried to print from Macs over IPP before switching over to Appletalk.

Any idea?

The machine is 2 x 3.0 GHZ Xeon, with Debian sarge, print attempted from KDE stable version.
