I have just bought a second hand acer 2303wlm. The laptop didn't come with a battery but with the AC adaptor. The screen appears very dark and you can only just make out the icons. Is there a way I can fix this problem? I have tried pressing the brighten screen button.

Please help me find a cure!:X
