Hey, i have a ati radeon 9800 PRO, but everytime i try and play games it always sais it cannot find a rendering device

I have checked dxdiag.exe and all of the direct x settings are turned to "off" and the option to enable them is greyed out

On windows the screen has all blue lines down the side, and im really getting pissed off because i cant afford a new card.

Is there anyway to fix this?
