Hello, This Monitor will power on the backlights for 2 sec then shuts off. (You can stilll see the display with a flashlight), I had read about some dells doing the same, and the dude changed a fuse. I am not so lucky, this board has 2 of those fuses that show good 5vdc and 12vdc resp. on both sides as power is on. There is also a glass fuse that is for 110vac and its good. So the dude also said some caps were bad near the volt regs on his dell. But what I don't understand is that i am getting 5 and 12 from the regulators. Any suggestions. Shoud I just start swapping out caps anyway? Has anyone worked on these inverter boards (i call em power supply boards) . If you notice in pic 1 and to the rt is a burn spot on the board. I think it's just from the jumper, the caps also show glue compund on them (thats not a leak), also in pic 1 to the right you can see the 2 fuses (one stripe in the middle)
